Q: Who is NetPro and why are they hosting The Experts Conference for Directory & Identity and The Experts Conference for Exchange?

A: Infrastructure Optimization software experts since 1991, NetPro drives security and compliance by extending and enhancing Microsoft technologies to simplify your IT infrastructure better for less. From Active Directory and Exchange to SharePoint and Server environments, NetPro solutions feature an integrated architecture with a Microsoft-like experience and the industry’s easiest deployment.

As a leading provider of solutions that drive the availability, performance, security, and control of distributed network services, NetPro knows directory and identity, and we understand Exchange Server and the need to both manage and leverage this high-profile application. We recognize that the most experienced directory users need more and better information to effectively run and manage their directory implementations. The Experts Conferences evolved out of extensive discussions with our customers, as well as Active Directory and Identity Lifecycle Manager (ILM) users who had expressed the need for an advanced exchange around critical technologies. The Experts Conference for Exchange evolved much the same way. Despite the fact that there are conferences covering Exchange, they don’t drive to the level of depth that attendees have come to expect from The Experts Conference. And we plan to change all that!

Q: Why has the conference name changed?

A.Quite simply, we think it’s about time! While The Directory Experts conference was born out of a desire to provide expert education on Active Directory, it has evolved over the years to cover a broader scope of Microsoft identity and access management technologies. And this year, we’re thinking even bigger as we launch The Experts Conference for Exchange to run side-by-side with The Experts Conference for Identity & Access. So, you see, The Directory Experts Conference may be how it all started. But the old name doesn’t tell the whole story anymore. The Experts Conference does!

Built on a foundation of advanced education – The Experts Conference will be offered in two cities in 2009 – Las Vegas and Berlin. And, in each city, it will feature two distinct conferences covering two major infrastructure technologies – Directory & Identity and Exchange.

Your favorite conference may have a slightly different name. And it will definitely be bigger and better than ever. But the charter remains the same. Advanced training for the experts, by the experts.
